Hi Chris, I'm trying to audit an exchange server with my domain admin account but am getting access denied when I try to open a mail box. Can you tell me why this will be? I can audit desktops fine.

Glen,

This is a common problem we have when scanning exchange, a domain administrator is by default denied access to other users' mailboxes.

To get around this, PixAlert recommend the use of a different access credential for scanning exchange.

A lot of the time an organization will already have an exchange user that's used for virus scanning etc., but in case your organization doesn't, we provide step-by-step instructions in this PDF file, which is deployed with Auditor:
